Hazer was truly a one-of-a-kind dog that came to us from Michael Wright. Michael had successfully trialed him a number of years, as had his breeders Steve & Julie Waltenburg of Trails End Kennels. He was the epitome of a cattle dog, and was my right hand man! Incredible power on cattle-he was also a half brother to Ace-sired by Dual Champion WTCH Rewuri Blue Bogong CD VQW (3 time National Herding Champion, out of DC WTCH HTCH Tenajas Cattle Kate Osage by DC WTCH Solo Blue Banjo.
Spader Vaquero Faith PRCD A, OFA Good, BAER Bi-lateral Normal- AKC DN09274202
We lost Faith in 2012, she was a headline female for us and a huge part of our family. She was one of our best producers of all time, and we will continue her influence with some hand-picked daughters.

Sired by Herding Champion George (ACDCA Year End High Point Herding Champion) out of Cattlenip Dunedoo O'Merriwood.
When we bred "Maggie" to Rewuri Blue Bogong, she produced several strong ranch dogs, a conformation champion and a National Specialty Herding High in Trial winner. "Maggie" was an incredibly gritty working dog that would not back from any stock-her progeny exhibited her same tenacity and biddable disposition. Another great dog that was sent to us by Kuawarri Kennels. Maggie is the dam of "Oz", that the Bacons have trialed successfully.

"Bonnie" was a wonderfully sweet dog that loved everyone. She raised 2 nice litters for us that produced good family and working dogs.
Spader Rewuri Red Ava OFA Prelim Good PRCD A
Unfortunately, we lost this good Charlie daughter at a young age. She was more of a driving type dog, with a great low heel. Very friendly, she raised a great set of pups in 2008. We'll miss her a lot!

Owned by Kuawarri Kennels. Quite simply one of the very best working dogs in the entire history of the breed. A herding and conformation champion, and a sire of the same-his influence is by far the most dominant one in pedigrees of successful herding trial dogs today.
DC HC CH WTCH Solo's Blue Banjo, QW, HTDIII, SSC, CGC
Owned by Craig Watson. The first dual champion (herding and conformation) in the breed. Lost at a fairly young age, Banjo's time was too short! His bloodlines are rare and in high demand created by those that know working dogs.
A great working, thinking dog-you can see his influence in his grandget Trails End Hard Working Hazer, Spader Miss Wind and Spader Charles M Russell.
HCH George
Foundation sire for Kuawarri Kennels, George established a legacy of powerful cattle dogs with power and strength. One of the early Herding Champions, he was also awarded the ACDCA High Point Herding Dog of the Year award and sired herding trial winners, titlists and herding champions. You can find his influence on our breeding program through Kuawarru Vaquero, his progeny, Kuawarri Blu Gurraymi, and Shadybrooks Lakota Blue Badger.
